Websites for wedding and event venues in London

One question, answered fast, then followed up for a year.

Every enquiry is really one question, and it is not about you. It is whether a single date is free. If the answer takes two days, they have viewed somewhere else by then, and the ones who do not book immediately are eighteen months from deciding, which is longer than any follow-up you currently run.

What you get

  • A date check that gets answered the same day, whatever your diary lives in
  • A page per event type, because weddings, corporate and private dining are separate searches
  • Capacity, layouts and minimum spend published, since planners filter on them first
  • Enquiry forms that capture the date before anything else, because nothing else matters yet
  • Follow-up sequenced across months rather than days, for the couples still deciding
  • Viewing bookings that fill your quiet slots instead of clustering on Saturdays
  • A gallery that loads on a phone at a venue with bad signal
  • You own the site, the domain, the enquiry data and the booking history in it

Audit delivered in 5 working days

From the moment you send access, not from a later kickoff. The written plan follows 2 working days after that. The audit is £340 and comes off the build.

How it runs

  1. 5 working daysAuditI go through your site, funnel, booking, CRM and backend, and find where the friction and the leaks are.
  2. 2 working daysPlanA written breakdown of what works, what is costing you, and what to fix first. In order, with reasons.
  3. 2 to 6 weeksRebuildI fix or rebuild the parts that need it: site, client flow, intake, automation, backend. Scoped and priced before it starts, with 30 days of changes included.
  4. 2 monthsWarrantyIf something I built breaks in the first two months, I fix it. No ticket, no invoice, no argument about whose fault it is.
  5. Monthly, optionalSupportAfter the warranty ends I stay on to maintain and improve it, if you want me to.

Questions people ask before we start

Have you built for a venue before?

No, and this is the furthest of my pages from the one published case study, so it is worth saying plainly. Matted London is a personal-care studio, and what carries across is search visibility and enquiries that stopped depending on somebody remembering. What does not carry across is anything about events. If that stretch is too far for you, it should be, and the free teardown costs nothing to find out.

What does it cost?

Builds start at £3,400 and the audit is £340, deducted in full if you go ahead. For a venue it usually turns on how many event types need their own page and whether the date check can read your existing diary or has to run beside it. Every figure is on pricing.

We are booked out eighteen months. Why would we need this?

For most of it, you would not, and I would rather say so than sell you a rebuild. Being full is the strongest argument against buying anything. The two things still worth fixing when the diary is full are midweek and off-season dates, which are the ones nobody enquires about, and the price you can hold, which is easier to raise when the site is not underselling the room.

Can it show live availability?

Sometimes, and the audit establishes which. If your diary is in a system that will let an outside tool read it, yes. If it lives in a spreadsheet or a system that will not, the honest answer is a same-day human reply instead, which beats live availability that is wrong. A calendar showing a date as free after it was held is worse than no calendar.

Most of our enquiries come from the big wedding directories.

Then some of your margin is a commission, and the useful question is what share of enquiries arrive by search instead. Directories are worth keeping and they are not worth being your only channel, because the rate is theirs to change. If search is already your larger half, this is less urgent than it looks and website optimization is probably the cheaper answer.

Do you do the photography?

No. A venue site lives or dies on its photography and mine would be the worst part of the build. I will tell you what the pages need, at what sizes, and make sure it loads fast when it arrives, and you or a photographer will produce it.

Not sure this is the one you need?

Book a free 30 minutes. Bring your site and roughly how many inquiries you get. You leave with the two or three things I would fix first, whether or not we end up working together.
